cnifocusWe regularly market all our yachts as there is so much competition, makingit a challenge to maintain owners' expectations. We have to set out a clearmarketing plan with each owner to be sure they are happy, and then do ourbest to meet their requirements. It is very rewarding to work in such a successfulcompany and I plan to develop in my role as the company continues to expand. Caroline Arselin After an Honours Degree in Languages and several years of postgraduatestudies in Translation and Political Sciences in the UK, Spain and France, myfirst job was working as a translator in Paris. When my family and I moved toMonaco I was offered a position as an assistant to three sales brokers at FraserYachts Monaco. After a few months, I realised I really enjoyed working in theyachting industry and was particularly attracted to the role of charter manager. That became my impetus for joining CNI's CMD in 2008.Each yacht has a dedicated charter manager, and we have to maintain aclose relationship with each owner, captain and crew. This is very importantas no two yachts have the same needs. We are involved in every aspect of chartermarketing, from promoting a yacht's charter availability to preparing yachtshows and marketing materials and ensuring the smooth running of thecharters by dealing with all the enquiries, contracts and funds. We are thereto help our owners, captains and crew at all times with anything that is relatedto their yacht charter activity - as such, we are great all-rounders and canturn our hand to pretty much anything at short notice. To contact the Charter Marketing Division at CNI's Monaco office, call +377 97 97 77 00 or email info@mon.cnyachts.com.
