TheVitruvius motoryacht series is a collaboration between thePerini Navi Group, Philippe Briand and Vitruvius Ltd. Built withexploration in mind, she is able to house numerous pieces ofequipment, such as tenders, jet skis and a 3.6m (12') Hov Podhovercraft, to allow her guests to enjoy the far-off destinationsshe will be able to access. What is more, outdoor spaces havebeen maximised to allow guests to take full advantage whenin sunny climates. Recognisable by her streamlined hull, herdesign was conceived to maximise guest privacy andincorporates a classic maritime interior.Lady ChristineLENGTH: 68M(223') | BUILDER: FEADSHIPROYALVANLENTLAUNCHED: 2010 | EXHIBITED: MONACOYACHTSHOWLady Christine, built by Feadship Royal Van Lent, is a primeexample of what a custom superyacht should be. Years ofresearch by her experienced owners into her Art Deco interiortheme, by Rodney Black Design Studios, is reflected in theattention to detail throughout the yacht and is perfectlyexecuted in every piece of work by the Feadship team. Featuresof note include the faux infinity pool tumbling off the back of theyacht over a green nameplate, and exquisite marquetry scenesin the stairwell on each deck level. Her owners will enjoy aprivate owner's deck, including a full-beam owner's stateroom,as well as features on board including a private cinema and hisand hers personalised studies. MarieLENGTH: 55M(180') | BUILDER: VITTERSLAUNCHED: 2010Marie, the latest yacht from Vitters, has an optimised hulldesign and combines classic lines and high performance,leaving her well placed to compete in superyacht regattas. Herinterior is by David Easton Design and Hoek Design, the brieffor which was owner privacy, with aspects such as a privateowner's deckhouse aft. A light interior combined with traditionalwoodwork reflects a modern interpretation of a classic sailyacht interior. A large gym sits forward, and the useof curved glass in the stairwell leading up to the gym allowsfor a near 360-degree view across the water. A custom-madeoctagonal spa pool is located on the sun deck. The interior,featuring carbon fibre and stainless steel detailing, complementsthe pale finishes, which work well with the use of glass topresent light-filled spaces. PanthalassaLENGTH: 56M(183') | BUILDER: PERININAVILAUNCHED: 2009 | EXHIBITED: MONACOYACHTSHOWDelivered in 2010 by Perini Navi, Panthalassa's quality of designwas recognised upon her winning the Prix du Design award atthe Monaco Yacht Show. Upon first walking onto the vessel,guests are struck by a key design feature, the glass sculpturedstairwell that acts as a tunnel of light downwards through theyacht. A central open-plan main lounge features differentareas,allowing guests to use the space in a multitude of waysdependingon their preference. The sophisticated yet simpleand clean interior by Foster and Partners includes an elegantmix of natural materials, such as teak and caramel leather. Thesix guest stateroomsare of similar proportions - even theowner's suite. An enclosable dining or meeting space backs ontothe bridge and is viewable through a glass division, continuingthe theme of light-filled spaces on board.SolematesLENGTH: 60M(196') | BUILDER: LÜRSSENWERFTLAUNCHED: 2010 | EXHIBITED: MONACOYACHTSHOWSolemates follows on from previous 60m (196') sisterships fromLürssen, including Linda Lou and Arkley. She is designed byEspen Oeino, a long-term collaborator with Lürssen, and herwarm interior is by Glade Johnson Design. Maximum use ofspace presents guests with a variety of areas in which to dineand relax. The sleek curves of her exterior continue throughoutthe yacht, which is blessed with natural light.
