Describe your ideal holidayIt would be somewhere I feel totally free, such as at sea. Whenever I am on ayacht I get a sense of complete unbridled freedom that I have yet to experience onany other type of holiday.Where is your favourite place to escape to?My house in Saint Moritz. I head there with my family during the winter. It's afantastic bolthole where I can completely unwind.What do you usually do for your summer holiday?I gather together my family and we sail on our yacht, exploring thebeautiful Mediterranean coastlines of countries such as Turkey, Greece,Sardinia and Corsica.What do you look for in a holiday destination?I love small islands and quiet resorts - peaceful places where I can enjoysilenceand the simple pleasures of life, such as swimming in crystal-clear waters.Where would you most recommend the discerning traveller to visit?I love anywhere tranquil and close to the sea. The Italian idylls of Portofino,Ponza, Palmarola, Capri, Amalfi and Positano fit my requirements perfectly.What essential items do you take with you when you travel?The Loro Piana 'no-carry' trolley has revolutionised my travels.
