AUTUMN 2011 Isea&iI 11newsandviewsThis summer saw the successful delivery of one of the largestyachts ever to have been built. The highly anticipated Sereneis an impressive 134 metres (439') in length, making her one of theworld's top ten largest yachts. Built by Fincantieri, this motoryacht is the first ever of its size to beconstructed by the shipyard's team. The colossal deal of Serene'sconstruction, which took four years to complete, was brokered bythe late Nicholas Baker. Serene has been finished to the higheststandards, with each of her seven decks seamlessly combiningsophistication with technology. Her striking features include ahelicopter hangar, an indoor swimming pool, a beach club, twooutdoor retractable cinema screens and an underwaterobservation room. Her vast interior space was designed by Pascale Reymond fromReymond Langton Design, one of the most famous designers in theyachting industry.The new 45.24m (148') displacement motoryacht Follow Me V wasalso delivered this July. Built by Spanish shipyard Factoria NavalMarín, this project was managed from concept to completion byCNI Palma broker Arne Ploch for a repeat client. Ploch was responsible for the choice of designer and shipyard,interior distribution, features and design. The resulting build is a high-quality displacement yacht with stunning sleek lines, a steel hull,aluminium superstructure and a modern classic interior.The new 40m (128') Tri-deck from CRN 5-G is another yacht thatrecently took to the high seas and has been enjoyed by her newowner in the Mediterranean through the latter part of the summer.CNI London broker Simon Goldsworthy announced the successfuldelivery of the CRN 128, which is Hull #6 of the series and capableof speeds of up to 24 knots. With accommodation for 12 guests infive cabins, the yacht was delivered to MCA-compliance, so shecan charter if desired. A TRIO OF NEW DELIVERIES

CNI exhibited eightspectacular yachts during the week, including one of the finestexamples of the Heesen series, the 44m (144'4) My Petra. CNI'sfantastic line up also included the 33.91m (111'3) Jiva fromSunseeker; the 28.3m (92.85') displacement yacht Maca fromBenetti; the 27.5m (90'55) Aquila from Sanlorenzo; the 26m (85') LaDolce Vita from Moonen; the 24.4m (80') Elettra from Perini Navi;and the 23.49m (77') Florence from Cantieri Navali Lavagna.MONACO YACHT SHOWWith 2011's boat show season now well underway, the industry is gearing up for one of themain events: the Monaco Yacht Show. From 21 to 24September, CNI will display a fantastic selection ofyachts, including the 62.5m (205') Icon (co-presentedby Merle Wood Associates), the 60m (196'8) Blue EyesLondon from CRN, the 55.5m (180') Drizzle fromFeadship, the 50m (164') TJ Esperanza from Amels, the49.9m (163'7) QM of London from Benetti, the 47.55m(156') Princess Too from Feadship, the 43.3m (142'06)Enterprise from Perini Navi SpA, and the 37.14m (121'8)Marflow from Dutch Yacht Builders S.A. CNI will be hosting social events for guests and ownersduring the show, including a cocktail evening at the YachtClub de Monaco and a gala dinner, held in associationwith Rolls Royce Marine and Barclays Capital.
