The newArceauChrono Colorscollection from Herm's includes a white version with saddle stitching and soft, whiteEpsom calfskin straps to honour the company's tradition of leather craftsmanship. The three countersand date are harmoniously arranged on the dial framed by a 43mm-diameter steel case. Thechronographhands and the seconds at three o'clock discreetly display the signature Herm's orange. The CatÕs Eyecollection from Girard-Perregaux marries feminine curves with precious mechanisms.This year the manufacture introduced a new facet to the collection that follows the Cat's Eye's form,but is housed in a gold case with an intricately worked dial in white mother of pearl. The dateis illuminated by a halo, and the small second is situated at nine o'clock and enhanced by a ray motifon the dial. Each of the hour indexes is a precious stone, with numerals in gold wire. LIMITED EDITIONS Limited-edition and one-of-a-kind designs have never shone more brightly than they have in the 2011collections. One that particularly stands out is the Talisman Suntime Rivierafrom De Beers. With sucha name, this jewellery watch must have been designed with yachting in mind, although it is moresuited to sundowners on deck than helming, with its 357 baguette-cut diamonds set in a white-goldcase. Instead of conventional hands, the watch indicates the time with a pair of hour markers aroundthe outside of the bezel. Just one has been made, so this really is an exclusive timepiece.DIAMONDS ARE FOREVERWhether they're dressing up the cases, dials, buckles, straps or, in some cases, the entirewatch, diamonds are a hot trend for a number of new collectionsPIAGET'S LIMELIGHT TONNEAU This sparkling new addition to the Limelight Garden Partycollection features the watch masters 526Pmovement housed in a classic tonneau shape. Equipped with date function and water-resistant to more than 90m (300ft),the steel and yellow-gold timepiece comes with a diamond casing and mother-of-pearl dial. DE GRISOGONO'S BLACK FOREVER OCCHIOde Grisogono is celebrating 15 years of the Black Diamond. The rare, high-quality black diamonds used in themodel have become de Grisogono's emblem and have adorned the wrists of Hollywood elite on the red carpet. Thelatest model is the Black Forever Occhio. Limited to just five pieces, the model is 18ct white-gold with a mattblack coating, and is set with 167 black diamonds. The titanium dial features Arabic numerals in silvered scriptand the hands are 18ct white gold. The strap is black alligator, with an 18ct matt-blackened white-gold buckle.CHOPARD'S IMPERIALE FULL SET The Imperiale Full Setis the first watch from Chopard to house a movement entirely developed and producedin the Fleurier Ebauches workshops. The piece beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour while thebarrel ensures a 60-hour power reserve. The 40mm case in 18ct white or rose gold is covered with diamonds,including diamond-set dials. A piece of genuine haute horlogerie and haute joaillerie.
