IOEX - 6-8 March 2012Taking place alongside International Confex, International Outdoor Event Expo (IOEX) will offer an international showcase dedicated to the innovative live event production and technology industry. IOEX is supported by industry associations Eventia, PSA, NOEA and ESSA, Association DayAssociation Day provides a stream of high-level seminars and networking opportunities for both UK and international associations. The programme supported by ICCA, consists of two plenary sessions and a choice from 10 round table workshops. The Association Day programme aims to attract 80 associations who will also attend the show to meet with exhibitors. Local Authority Conference In recognition of the vast number of events local authorities are responsible for organising up and down the country, International Confex has this year developed a conference targeted at local authority personnel. Endorsed by the Local Authority Event Organisers Group (LOAG), the seminar programme will review the concerns behind public sector events including the scale, cost, environmental effects, as well as health and safety issues.
