A Group Executive Board triumvirate is now overseeing the group's strategy: Diana de Tamayo, Chairman; Donald Hellstedt, Director and Dr Layth Bunni, Non-executive Member and former Congrex Group CEO. Wade-Smith came to Congrex in April 2011. He had been Director of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Visit Liverpool. The Group Senior Management Team is now chaired by Hellstedt and includes Marc Hollander, Chief Finance Offi cer; Robert Harrison, Chief Operating Offi cer; Lena Fletcher, Regional Managing Director, Nordic Region; Alain Pittet, Regional Managing Director, Switzerland, Germany and France and Viveca Döberl-Cederberg, Group Business Integration and IT Director. A statement thanking Wade-Smith said his tenure "contributed to the Group's development and led the introduction of rich media to our international client base".Rose Bowl renamed Ageas Bowl in new dealHampshire Cricket's Rose Bowl is to be renamed the Ageas Bowl in a six-year sponsorship deal. Life insurance provider Ageas, whose head offi ce is based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, has signed a deal with the cricket and hospitality venue to become its title sponsor. Business trips up in England Tourist board VisitEngland claims England attracted 15 per cent more business trips last year, compared to 2010. The fi gures come from GBTS research and represent the highest number of trips since the survey began in 2006. Total spend rose by 13 per cent year on year, representing almost £18bn. Glasgow to host Lib-Dems in autumn 2013Glasgow has been chosen to host the Liberal Democrats' annual Autumn Party Conference in 2013. The city beat off strong competition to secure the fi ve-day event, which will take place at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre next September.Over 7,000 delegates will travel to Glasgow to attend the conference, which is expected to inject £12m into the local economy.The CEO of the new i2i Group, Mark Shashoua, has his sights fi rmly on international growth following the 28 March Emap announcement of a split into three divisions. Three independent companies have been formed, including i2i Events Group, the former Emap Connect business encompassing large-scale conferences, live events and exhibitions; 4C Group, covering information services including the WGSN and Customer Insight brands; and Emap's publishing business. Shashoua, who joined Emap last November, told CN: "Events now represent half of Emap's total turnover. "Publishing, events and data are completely different businesses.
