Kim Malherbe, Sales and Marketing Manager for St Andrews University, says a £45m investment in conferencing facilities at the NSM has led to an increase in European Association enquiries.Three-quarters of delegates at its fi rst international event, the 16th Europic Conference, came from outside the UK and all 200 were accommodated within the University's accommodation.Conference Chairman David J. Evans, said: "The venue was ideal, with everything on a single site, excellent lecture facilities, comfortable accommodation and good food. We were able to provide a local fl avour of Scotland with whisky-tasting and a haggis supper."
