Servicing 100's of different commercial markets each portfolio functions as an autonomous unit with each individual playing a signifi cant role in developing their shows. This particular unit boasts one of the most signifi cant shows for the business and hence stress the necessity to fi nd the "crème de la crème" of experienced exhibition sales managers. The responsibilities will be: . Reporting into the Senior Sales Manager (SSM). Develop and implement a sales strategy to deliver growth and increased profi tability. Defi ne, manage and measure the activity of the sales team to ensure they not only meet but exceed agreed performance. Manage and develop both UK and international sales channels. Identify new business opportunities. Lead, develop and mentor the internal and any external sales teams to ensure that they are recognised as best in class both internally and externally. Responsible for identifying and implementing overseas trips to competitive events. Responsible with the SSM for identifying new markets and revenue streams. Willing to work fl exible hours when needed & committed to getting the job done. Time spent travelling abroad will be key. Must be capable of unlocking and capitalising revenue from digital opportunities. Provide accurate and timely reporting of key statistics and forecasts for the budget process. Adhere to budgets within all sales areas of control. Responsible for sales staff recruitment, training, development, appraisal, probationary and disciplinary requirements .
