"The positive vibe at Surf Expo shows an industry headed in the right direction as it continues to rebound after the recession," he added. One can then imagine he donned a wetsuit and launched himself into the frothing surf. Piggy went to marketThe Illinois Pork Expo featured some meaty seminar topics as part of its programme this year. The show, sponsored by the Illinois Pork Producers Association, ran on 31 January - 1 February at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Peoria and the Peoria Civic Center and featured a motivational speech from Emery Moorehead, a member of the Chicago Bears 1985 Super Bowl champion team. You may have thought the beginning of the calendar year is several months too early to be making plans for Halloween. Not so for the thousands of visitors to the Halloween and party expo held at the george R brown convention center in Houston, Texas in January. 55,740sqm of exhibition, education and performance space was used to highlight the industry's top retailers in Halloween, party and Sexy costume. The show also featured a style show and an education/demo centre.
