The payout follows a contract dispute with two former company executives. The Montego Bay Convention Centre will hold up to 6,000 people and include 4,800sqm of exhibition space, 2,000sqm of banqueting space and 1,000sqm of meeting rooms. " The convention centre will be part of the critical infrastructure necessary to New Montego Bay venue to hold 6,000 facilitate the repositioning of Jamaica as an events destination in the global tourism market," says Jamaica's minister of tourism, Edmund Bartlett.
