The new partnership sees the RAI and KLM work together in bidding for new business under the existing initiative Taskforce City Wide Congresses.KOREAPHASE TWO OF KINTEX EXPANSION COMPLETE Korea's largest trade show and convention venue, Kintex, has now opened its second space. The state-of-the-art venue now offers 10 indoor exhibition halls totalling 108,000sqm with updated meeting facilities comprising 57 conference rooms and large auditoriums.A forum organised by the Association of Korea Exhibition Industry (AKEI) at the end of November hopes to shine fresh light on how best to promote and benefi t from the recent and ongoing expansion of the country's major exhibition centres.RUSSIAEXPOFORUM BEGINS LENEXPO INTEGRATIONExpoforum has begun integrating Russian organiser Lenexpo into its operations in preparation for opening the new US$1bn convention complex in St Petersburg in 2013.Expoforum, majority owned by Gazprom subsidiaries, acquired a 25 per cent share in Lenexpo in April last year in a bid to create a partnership between the two companies. The company has since taken fi rm control of Lenexpo. "We have started the integration with Lenexpo to create the united company for organising events at Lenexpo till 2013 and at ExpoForum after its opening," said ExpoForum GM Anatoly Erkulov, pictured.LIBYAMONTGOMERY RETURNS TO LIBYA WITH NEW EXPOSMontgomery Exhibitions is returning to the Libyan market with two new trade shows and conferences in early 2012. The UK-based exhibition organiser put its Libyan trade show programme on hold in February following political unrest in the region.
