It sits right in the middle of Bangkok, near several other event venues including Paragon (12,000sqm) and Centara (10,000sqm). Surrounded by 4- and 5-star hotels, the venue is easily accessible by road or mass transit. The QSNCC has played host to the United Nations and other prestigious events as well as exhibitions. Although it is as much a conference venue as it is a trade fair hall, it is effective for smaller shows.BANGKOKBITECSIZE: 50,000sqmEXHIBITION HALLS: 8LOCATION: Bang Na, BangkokVENUE INFORMATION:Opening in 1997, the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) has since risen in status as a major exhibition venue.The venue was selected by TCEB to host Thailand's fi ve core industries' event under the campaign Better the Best in 2011. It also won the UFI Operations Award in 2007 and is certifi ed by the MICE Security Management System TIS 22300.As well as 15-metre ceilings and 32 loading docks for ease of access, BITEC benefi ts from many meeting rooms and business centres, VIP areas, a press room and even a children's crèche.IMPACTSIZE: 140,000sqmEXHIBITION HALLS: 12LOCATION: Amphoe Pak Kret, BangkokVENUE INFORMATION:Sitting a short drive from Bangkok, Impact is Thailand's largest exhibition venue by far. It boasts a 12,000-seat arena-style concert hall, the 30,000sqm Impact Convention Centre, 47,000sqm Impact Exhibition Centre and Impact Challenger and a 60,000sqm column-free exhibition hall which the company claims is the world's largest column-free expo space. Novotel Bangkok Impact offers 381 rooms of 4-star onsite accommodation specifi cally geared towards MICE travellers.
