Continued from page 37You scream, I scream, we allscream for BEEBE'S ice cream! When the Stolianas family took over this popular ice cream parlor late last year, they made some sweep-ing changes. With a new, more effi cient layout and an electronic menu displayed on an enormous fl at screen TV, the store looks and feels much more up to date. They've also started serving great gourmet coffee and making their own waffl e cones and fl avored whipped cream but, you'll be pleased to Seafood for miles on PARADISE CAFE'S Friday night buffetThe Hilton at the south end of Marco's beach has a good view out towards the Gulf and on Friday nights it also has a great view along the seafood buffet table! Choices range from shrimp to crab, from sushi to oysters on the half shell and hot fi sh dishes in wonderful sauces. Perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, go hungry and leave full. On a recent visit there our son-in-law, who loves raw oysters, most defi nitely ate my portion, Debbie's share and our daugh-ter's also! But, thank goodness, he declared he was beaten before they ran out of oysters. Before the buffet, try the two for one cocktails in Sandcastles lounge from 5-7pm.Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa, 560 S. Collier Blvd., 239-642-2181It's tough to beat the SNOOK INN for casual waterfront diningRestaurants with water views are few and far between on Marco and it's not surprising that The Snook is now in its 26th year and is a Marco institution. With a great view of Marco River, plenty of outdoor seating and regular island style music, it's so easy to pass a couple of hours relaxing with a cold cocktail - we certainly have! The fresh fi sh of the day is always a good choice, (try the mahi mahi while watching the dolphins play) and this summer, by popular demand, their all you can eat dinners (including their famous seafood buffet) are back. See their ad on page 139 for details. Other benefi ts to bear in mind - all summer long there's half price drinks at their two happy hours at the hear, they still serve the same delicious old fashioned ice cream in 44 fl avors. And when you add their yogurt, fl oats, milk shakes, sugar free / no fat ice cream and 12 fl avors of shaved ice they really do have something to please the whole family. They're always buzzing in the evenings with moviegoers and restaurant patrons choosing some-thing delicious to end their night out. Enjoy your choice outside at one of the tables or take it to the courtyard by the fountains and people-watch.Marco Walk Plaza, 599 S. Collier Blvd., 239-642-9800, www.beebesicecream.comtikki bar, kids can eat free using the cou-pon in the back of the magazine and there's complimentary transportation with A Carr Transportation to and from anywhere on Marco.
