He has served as member ofthe IOC's Sport and Environment Commissionand the UN Secretary-General's Inter-AgencyTask Force on Sport for Development and Peace.KAREN ROSENAs the daughter of an athletics coach in Alabama,Karen Rosen grew up holding the tape at the finishline, running results and reading the photo-finish.She attended her first Olympic Games in Montrealin 1976 on a family holiday and worked for ABC atthe 1984 Los Angeles Games. Rosen has coveredevery edition of the Games since 1992. She haswritten for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Aroundthe Rings, USA Today, the Associated Press and TVGuide magazine. Rosen also has run a lap in 12different Olympicstadiums.MURAT AGCATurkish journalist Murat Agca, who writes forthe Milliyet Daily News, is a member of theInternational Sports Journalist Association(AIPS) and treasurer of the European SportsWriters Association (UEPS).
