WWF Chief Operating Officer Judy Slatyer and WWF Corporate Relations Director Maria Boulos were present for the signing, alongside IOC member and FISA President Denis Oswald and FISA Executive Director Matt Smith. WWF actively engages in partnerships with organisations that they feel share their goals. They aim to help organisations reduce their ecological footprint and make a positive contribution to helping preserve the environment. FISA's Matt Smith explained, "As the sport's governing body, FISA will be making significant commitments to improve our own environmental policies, most importantly our guidelines for event bidding and event staging."The International Modern Pentathlon Union (UIPM) Executive Board has awarded the 2016 Senior World Championships to Moscow, Russia, following the city's success in staging the 2011 edition. UIPM Secretary General Joël Bouzou stated: "Moscow were the perfect hosts for the 51st edition of the World Championships. "They held four out of the five disciplines under one roof and the 2016 event will go one step further and have all five disciplines in one location, creating the ultimate pentathlon stadium, where spectators can watch all the events from one seat."The International Ski Federation (FIS) has launched a new campaign, "Skiers and Snowboarders Say NO! to Doping - Clean as Snow". The awareness campaign was created by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for organisations to unite behind doping-free sport and the FIS is launching the campaign with the support of its Athletes' Commission. During the 2011/2012 competition season, all FIS Cross-Country World Cup athletes' training bibs will be branded with the "Clean as Snow" logo, while the campaign will also be promoted at FIS World Cup events across various disciplines.22 OLYMPIC REVIEW
