The AVEVA Business Performance Centre is equipped with the latest audio and visual equipment to demonstrate global design, engineering, construction, and operations solutions for the process, power, oil & gas, and shipbuilding industries. AVEVA's development of the Centre is part of its commitment to continual progression in world- class engineering design and information solutions. ' Even though the nation's economy has been in a downturn recently, AVEVA hasn't stood still,' Muldoon explained. ' We're investing, we're hiring, we're training, we're expanding. We're ready for the future. The construction and opening of this Centre is just the culmination of all of the work we've done over the last year to position ourselves to take full advantage of the coming economic rebound and reap the rewards, together with our customers. That's what " continual progression" is all about.' While AVEVA has offices worldwide, it was no accident the new Business Performance Centre was ultimately located in Houston, Texas. Houston remains the energy capital of the world, and nearly every major oil & gas company has a significant presence in the city. Numerous alternative energy companies also call Houston home. In addition, the city hosts dozens of the top EPC firms, several within close proximity to AVEVA's west Houston offices. AVEVA's strategic location should be a boon for the Centre, and the EPC kick- off breakfast showed there is plenty of interest in the new facility. ' I am very excited by this new Business Performance Centre and the prospects it brings,' Muldoon said. ' Our customers and partners are going to really benefit from the immersive approach we've developed with this facility, and I predict you're going to see a lot of major projects come out of the centre that set new standards across the industry. The Centre should play a strategic role in helping AVEVA service the needs of our customers and partners in the Houston area, as well as around the globe.' ' AVEVA's development of the Centre is part of its commitment to continual progression in world- class engineering design and information solutions...'
