About 1.4 billion people in the world still live in extreme poverty - on less than US$1.25 per day. They lack the essentials that we take for granted: clean water, food, healthcare and education. NGO Brazil (or ONG Brasil) was launched in Sao Paolo in 2009 with the second very successful "edition" having taken place in November 2010. The London event represents the launch of the initiative in Europe and we are in the early stages of planning a further such event for India.The London show has the aim of facilitating networking between charities and various not-for-profit entities, encouraging them to participate in best practice seminars and facilitating partnerships between voluntary and corporate sectors.
