Lighting was an important element that the women shopped for, resulting in unique fixtures, sconces and ceiling fans "that remind me of kayak paddles," Celine says. "We designed the dock so you don't have to step from the canoe into water. I just get in and Andy pushes me out. It's perfect," Celine said.Speaking of preferences, Emma, 14, says her favorite thing about the lake house isn't the house, but the view.
