ZERO TOBMX HERO5 THE HUB: PAGE 12THE too long ago, an unsteady 11-year-old was wobbling around his back garden on his friend's battered mountain bike. After a big push, he feels the rush of the wind and realises - he's doing it! A whole two metres without stabilisers... before crashing head first into the swing set! This is where Eddie's cycling journey began, and where it pretty much stayed until just nine months ago, when he took up the challenge to become a rookie BMX racer in time for the 2012 UCI BMX World Championships. Fortunately, though, he hasn't been alone on his journey. Alongside him he has had the expert guidance of British Cycling's Go-Ride Coaches and the production company The Reporters' Academy to record every success (and a few epic fails!) along the way. Press play to see the latest installment and you can catch up with the monthly instalments of Eddie's journey here.
