Going Green 24 Speakers and Facilitators An environmental expert delivers the key messages with credibility and experience. Anthony Day Anthony is concerned with the practical effects of climate change on business and society. He has just completed 18 months research with the publication of his book Will Climate Change Your Life? and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, board member of the Professional Speakers Association and member of the Environmental Research Group at the Institute of Actuaries. Dr Paul Williams Specialising in climate science, Dr Williams has published widely, and was recently the lead author of a climate change report commissioned by the European Parliament. Paul’s research findings are frequently reported in the national media, including recent feature articles in New Scientist and the Financial Times and a panel discussion on BBC Radio 4. He recently presented his research to MPs at the House of Commons. Donnachadh McCarthy Donnachadh has dealt with eco-planning policies and environmental auditing for political parties. He now runs eco-auditing consultancy ‘3 Acorns Eco-audits’. Recently he appeared on Newsnight, BBC 24, Sky and ITV, and his eco-auditing work has been featured in major broadsheets. His first book Saving the Planet Without Costing The Earth - 500 Simple Steps to a Greener Lifestyle was published in 2004 and he acted as on-screen eco-auditor for the BBC2 TV series ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’. |
