NIKOLAI DOLGOPOLOV Nikolai Dolgopolov is President of the Federation of Sport Journalists of Russia, a member of the Figure Skating Federation of Russia, as well as AIPS Vice President and Deputy Editor- in- Chief of the daily newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta. For Olympic Reviewhe spoke with Olympic Solidarity scholarship holder Anastasiya Gimazetdinova, a figure skater from Uzbekistan currently training in Russia, and discovered how the Solidarity programme was assisting her preparations for the Vancouver Winter Games next year. As a member of the Vancouver 2010 Bid Corporation that won the right to host the 2010 Games, the Olympic experience has had a great influence on Bonnie's personal and professional life, and she continues to be involved with the 2010 Games with a variety of corporate clients and sports organisations.
