It is strategically located at Games- time at a point just before the fork in the road leading to the different areas of the park. O Siyam is the official volume showcasing these artworks and telling the stories behind the art and artists that are featured at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The scope and variety of the art will be extensive and will include sculpture, painting, tapestry, carving, masks and stain glass works from more than 90 Canadian Aboriginal artists. The glorious cultural exhibits at the Games venues will display works by established and well- known artists, such as master carver Tim Paul, Colleen Cutschall ( painter/ sculptor), Jason Baerg ( installation artist/ painter), Arlene Christmas ( painter), Andrew Qappik ( print/ painting) and dozens of others.
