BOB WOODS New York- based Bob Woods, who launches this issue's cover feature with his update on the final preparations for Vancouver 2010 on page 24, has covered the Olympic Games since 1988, when he edited US television network NBC's viewers' guides to both the Seoul and Calgary Games. He has reported on each subsequent edition of the Games as a freelance writer for various outlets across the USA, his work appearing in magazines and publications ranging from Sports Illustratedto Newsweek International. ALYSSA ROENIGK Alyssa Roenigk is senior writer at ESPN the Magazine, having previously covered the Olympic Games and Action Sports for the publication. Prior to that she wrote for American Cheerleader magazine, having graduated from the University of Florida ( where she was a member of the cheerleading team). For Olympic Review, she previews the eagerly anticipated half- pipe competition in Vancouver, which will see Shaun White defend his gold medal in the men's event.
