UCI SUPPORTS 'GIVING IS WINNING' CAMPAIGNBelow IAAF Hall of Fame inaugural member Jesse OwensThe International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has launched an online photo contest (80years.fiba.com) to mark its 80th anniversary.The competition, which is open to all, will see one lucky fan win a trip for two to the basketball final at the London 2012 Olympic Games.FIBA Secretary General Patrick Baumann said: "Of course we urge everyone who has a basketball-related photo to share it with the world. But we will be happier still seeing thousands of people use the camera on their phone and take a picture whenever they see something 'basketball', or bring a camera with them whenever they go to watch or play."The message is that basketball is everywhere and belongs to everyone."The International Cycling Union (UCI) has sent 44 boxes of clothes to the IOC for its 'Giving is Winning' campaign. The clothes will be sent to refugee camps across the world. 'Giving is Winning' is a worldwide solidarity campaign of the IOC in partnership with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the Organising Committee for the London 2012 Games (LOCOG) in the run-up to the 2012 Games.
