GREELEY | WINDSOR | LOVELAND | FORT LUPTON | ONLINEAims Community College is an EEO Employer and an equal opportunity educational institution. 50 years of Aims.aims.edu/aims50Craft Breweries Offer the Best Beer in Berthoud! If you love craft beer, you'll be happy to know that Colorado isn't just holding its own; it's second in the country (California tops the list) for number of breweries. How many? At last count, 348. That's about six breweries for every 100,000 people. In Berthoud, the ratio of breweries to people is even better, thanks to Berthoud Brewing Company and City Star Brewing. The two micro-breweries offer a variety of craft brews, from lagers, stouts and pale ales to red ales, brown ales and saisons. While live music and food trucks round off the on-site experience for revelers, both breweries can frequently be found at local festivals, such as Berthoud Day and Oktoberfest.Fun—and FundraisingIn addition to live music, the breweries mix things up with on- and off-site events. Berthoud Brewing hosts the Food Truck Cooking Demonstrations and an on-site sculpture class called Bronze and Beer, where customers can create their own masterpieces while drinking their favorite brews. They also participate in fundraisers, like the Front Range Rally benefit-ting the Food Bank for Larimer County and awareness campaigns, like the SOWN project to showcase native ingredients in direct support of local suppliers and producers.Great ingredients make great beer. That's why we use Colorado-sourced yeast, hops and Troubadour Maltings at our microbrewery. Plus, by using local ingredients, we decrease our carbon footprint, support farmers and small businesses, and contribute to economic growth. Logic dictates that drinking a Rayfield Red IPA, Forged Stout or Railbender Scottish makes YOU a champion for the environment,an advocate for small business and a model citizen. Don't you owe it to your community to enjoy an 1888 Blonde Ale on the patio? We think so. Do your part. Drink our beer.Check out our full line-up of live music on our website!Berthoud Brewing Company 450 8th St., Berthoud(970) 532-9850 www.berthoudbrewing.comBerthoud Business Directory and Visitor's Guide 2017-2018 | 35
