By now, you have probably learned that Berthoud is a very special place. You may have seen our beautiful views and surrounding open space, and you may be aware of our fantastic schools and parks. Our locally owned and operated businesses are reflective of our small-town charm. Berthoud has several great churches and many clubs and nonprofits that support the residents in many ways. I could go on and on about the great advantages of living and visiting in Berthoud. However, the greatest things Berthoud has to offer are our community spirit and our wonderful residents. We have an excellent fire department, police department, library and town staff. There are numerous opportunities for people to get involved in the community, including volunteering at Berthoud's many functions and events. Our Chamber of Commerce office is a great resource for finding information on the Berthoud's stores and service businesses. The Berthoud Town Hall is also a place to gather information and learn about some of the programs and amenities available. As you can tell, Berthoud is undergoing a very noticeable growth spurt. While there are a lot of new neighborhoods and projects underway, the town trustees are intent on protecting the "old town village" image of Berthoud for now and the future. We welcome you to Berthoud, the community we proudly call home!Be excited. Be friendly. Be kind. Be positive. Be Berthoud!
