From April 13th to 22nd, check out 60-second films on TTCsubway screens created by youth for the Everyday Heroes FilmFestival. Earth Day Canada co-produced the Festival with Planetin Focus, The NFB and Onestop Media Group Art for Commuters(everydayheroesfestival.com). Community Environment Days are City of Toronto-run events thatoffer products like a backyard composter and indoor waterefficiency kit, and free items like a green bin and kitchencontainer (with proof of new residency in the last 90 days or inexchange for a damaged bin) and a leaf compost (limit of onecubic metre per household). The events also include recycling anddonations organized in neighbourhoods across Toronto(toronto.ca/environment_days).
