Initial shirting was completed in just 43 days, including fabric production, garment manufacture and delivery. We've also set up online ordering and a warehouse system at the Stobart Training Academy in Widnes, linked into our NACI computer network.THE REQUIREMENTSimon Jersey was awarded the workwear contract for haulage giants Eddie Stobart in October 2010. That meant creating uniforms for the whole team: drivers, warehouse staff, office staff and managers. All 5000 of them. Garments and fabrics had to be versatile enough for multitasking workers based at around 40 sites (including depots, warehouses and airports) across the UK, Ireland, Belgium and the rest of Europe.
