Last year it was the turn of frozen food expert Iceland to celebrate their 40th year in business, and it was during 2010 that Simon Jersey was approached to create a fresh new look for Iceland's whole workforce - all 22,000 of them. From home delivery drivers right through to store managers, each member of staff required a uniform that not only was practical to work in but looked great too.THE SOLUTIONIceland required a versatile uniform range that would carry the company brand as well as connecting the various departments and job roles. So who better to play a part in how the new uniform should look than the staff themselves. Together, Simon Jersey and Iceland ran a competition that invited staff to design a new uniform that was fit for purpose. Winners of the competition were invited to Simon Jersey's Head Office for a day where the new garments were presented to them. Manufactured, delivered and launched within a four-month period, the new uniform proved to be a perfect way to commemorate their 40th birthday.
