This section offers courses which can help youunderstand how to make more creative use of acamera and take better photographs. Many coursesdemonstrate how to get the best out of digitalcameras and what to do with the imagesafterwards. On each course, demonstrations toexplain theory and practical techniques arecomplemented by plenty of opportunities to takeyour own photographs, either in the Centregrounds or on excursions to sites of interest suchas local villages or nature reserves. Although you may already have some basicphotographic experience, our tutors are happy totake time to explain techniques from first principlesif necessary and courses are offered at three levels.Those for 'beginners' or for 'improvers' broadlyreflect your previous experience of photography. Inthe 'Nature and Landscape Photography' sectionmost courses are 'open to everyone'.Please note that film, chemicals, photographic paperand digital storage media are not included in mostcourse fees.
