The emphasis of the week is on getting you prepared for both theInstructor course and the Pre-Entry Assessment. During the course you will be covering advanced sailing and the skills required for pre-entry assessment on the water and upgrading and consolidating your theory and background knowledge off the water. The week will conclude on the Friday with the Pre-Entry Assessment.Instructor Preparation Week 5 days (Mon-Fri) Course Code: PWRYA Dinghy Instructor (16+) Our very popular 5-day RYA Dinghy Instructor course teaches you the RYA method, the structure of the RYA and how to teach sailing. An RYA Dinghy Instructor qualification is highly valued and is recognised as the industry standard for employment at watersports centres and holiday organisations both here in the UK and overseas. This means it is a very useful enhancement to your cv, especially if you wish to travel and work during a Gap Year or Career Break. The course is run by an RYA Coach Assessor and is moderated on the final day by a second RYA Coach Assessor. Prior to the course students must have passed the RYA Pre-Entry Assessment, RYA Powerboat Level 2 and hold a recognised First Aid certificate.RYA Dinghy Instructor 5 days (Mon-Fri) Course Code: IN We recommend for those attending the RYA Dinghy Instructor Course that you purchase a copy of the G14 logbook - your essential guide during the course.RYA Dinghy Instructor Pre-Entry Sailing Assessment (16+)An RYA pre-requisite for the Dinghy Instructor course is that all candidates have to pass a pre-entry sailing assessment, conducted by an RYA Coach Assessor. We also offer the assessment only as a one-day course.
